The Interior Plains region is located in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and part of British Columbia. The Plains are fairly flat and is made up of sedimentary rock and is flooded with many different types of grasses, wooded parkland, and large northern forests. The Plains region is dependent on agriculture since the climate is warm enough to farm, farmers are able to profit of wheat, oats, and flax. Trees are very common in the Plains like spruce, pine and general forest trees. Mining is also a good economic resource for people who live their, resources like oil, gas, copper, zinc, gold, and coal. Although farming is a very good way to make money in the Plains Region but there are still some negative impacts to the industry like Farming pollution and pesticide resulting in more pollution.
